Sadly today I can't seem to get an exp party and I don't have sin's char to pl myself

Contrary to my efforts and plans on Saturday evening today was no progress. At work I had to baby sit a 5 year old kid while managing several big runs @ work. Everything was cool and I was just very tired from lack of sleep so had no energy for another pointless DRK adventure. Things I did do today was chat... quite a bit actually. I had a very nice conversation with several people from DB and makes me feel very good that they care about new commers. I got their schedule for events and will adjust my work schedule around it. Funny isn't it. Well anyways ...
I also had a very intresting conversation with a member of imagination. I don't know if I should bother revealing her in game name but basically I gained so much more respect for her. She is down to earth, friendly, very open, a bit hippie of everything and just through the conversation with her ... at first only fooling around ... well real cool person. So yes today was completly wasted sorry DB ; ;

Leveling Dark

Since I work Weekends the day started of @ norm. I barely got up for work and upon arriving and finishing daily duties began leveling DRK. A few pointers about the job... it's the most boring I've played thus far. Their is virtually zero you can do in order to make yourself any better than the DRK next to you. Yes I was suprisingly doing the most DMG even with shit accuracy but this again dunes @ lvl 10. If I wasn't broke I would go as far as taking on sole sushi on these things and completly owning. Since DRK is a simple DD job I'm going to PL with sins's charecter and just solo with it until about level 20. I'm thinking if I find a good camp I can do about 3-4k an hour. If on monday I start early @ about 10am and go until 4pm that's 6hours of play or 24k in experience points which is roughly getting myself to half way through level 20 from where I am now with drk. After which point I can upgrade my gear and hope to speed things up. This will be a boring and tedecious experience but it's much more reliable than seeking parties and with a good soundtrack which I'll prepare today I should be able to suck it up and do it. I'll take a short break @ 4. And try to continue for another 6 hours before giving up. Which should take me to about level 22. I might try a party or 2 in quifim @ this point and well retire upon reaching 22. This will be an absolutly ridiculous feat but I hope to get into DB and so I have to keep up this pace all the way through until DRK is capped @ 37 at which point I don't hope to return to it until I decide to go for my Maat's hat.

While only getting 3 levels under extremly bad conditions in dunes on drk I was told by akujin that he can't attend Dynamis-Jeuno tonight and I was supposed to organize it for Imagination. Man I hate responsibility but w/e I did all the normal research on the dynamis the mobs, the pulls and listened in closely onto TeamSpeak of the LS organizing this Dynamis. We only had a few people from Imagination attend ... including Kubler(pantless RDM), Venesasa (71 RDM), Ros (69 Mnk), Maximo (71?DRK), and Viera (73 Thief).

Since I was comming home from work I was going to be late and after telling everyone what to do I left work @ 8 (Dynamis had already begun) and arrived home @ 8:30. I was a little late but apparently people wiped on entrance >.<

K... so I got in @ about the time people were getting back up and used my r2 hairpin since WHM are evil cunts. Listening closely to TeamSpeak I helped keep things slept, dispelled (we only had about 4-5 blm several underleveled so no thundega III) and so we did extremly well through and through. The pulls were nice and clean make it extremly easy for us and we went for 3.5 hours with no death (to me or my team that is). Than ... we had a large pull and well people panicked ... the thing I hate the most is sleeping things with sleepaga 1 ... knowing it will kick my ass on wake but hoping the BLM will do sleepaga II ontop and help kill shit... well that's not always the case things come back to rape me in the ass. My connection was real wonderful last night too so lag basically killed me, no amount of fast cast will help if it takes 15 sec for CTRL M to respond.

We wiped... but several people kept @ it and fought to bitter bone and killed the entire train except for 1 gob and 1 slime. I was impressed. When the gob and slime left I r2ed and preceded to r1 everyone who wasn't up. I heard some folks lost 7k this dynamis in total. Lots of people from my ls were pissed. Anyways we killed the gob and slime quickly... and now preceeded down past the AH (no aggro yet) we do well for another 5 min and someone manages to aggro the AH and pull about 6 mobs at us from the back. wonderful. Everyone in team speak starts fliping out @ it ... I help sleep em cause our blm seem to be cowards and run first than nuke. But it seems like we can survive it. Our last pull was much bigger ... all of the sudden I hear more yelling on Team Speak I turn around and see one of those trains that u simply don't fuck with. This is with a 35-40 min remaining I drop my hourglass and hope to get out before shit really hits the fan. This is knowing that I have sin's charecter with an hourglass to make me a copy I survive without dieing... but barely ... I zone out right when the mobs return to us and start wailing at me from both direction suprisingly I recast stoneskin without interuption and survive with 130 hps.

Upon getting out I heal up convert and use sin's cure V to get back to full. Than trade another hourglass and zone back in. But, I'm now weakened. I wonder if I died but I'm sure I didn't I check my exp but I can't really tell anyways I guess it's a penality for reentering. This weakness lasts a very very long time + it is even more severe than normal weakness because my hp was 65. By the time everyone is back up we have 20 min on the clock and people wine and /cry but we go at it the trigger anyways preying for more time but it's way too many mobs I even manage to die trying keep shit slept and walk away with an r2 + r3 from sinspawn. I got off very easy here and feel I contributed a lot to the result. The sad part is I can't say the same for everyone else. People lost a huge amount of exp this dynamis, we got 0 AF to drop and a lot of relic weapons. Currency wasn't even 1/4 of what the owner paid for.

I realize how badly I have to level my RDM now due to fear of going back 73 when I was only a few k short of 75. So no more dynamis runs until DRK is 37 and I'm exping RDM again which hopefully will be with the competent team in DB.

The social LS I joined over a month ago is now turning into a wannabe HNMLS. I'm not sure if it will succeed or not. The leader of the linkshell is Viera who is a manthra. He seems like a great guy and has come out to help almost everyone all the time and follows the permissive autocrat style of management. I can't say it isn't working but their are a few flaws in the process.

I personally joined the ls almost by accident, simply to have a ls while I waited on the calling of an HNMLS. It was comfortable since it was largely the fall out of Hollow, my old LS.

A few days ago I spoke with Takigurl and they finally agreed to give me a shot in DB. This is my chance to become recognized on Kajuta as a good player and enjoy some of the more challanging aspects of the game. I do have the prerequisite of leveling Dark to 37. So after we spoke I quickly went and finished off ninja to 37 which I have to say was one of the most expensive things I've done yet. Next I jumped quickly onto DRK unlocking it and preceeding to level it to 10. Dark at early levels seems very simple. You simply lock on and swing away their isn't even an ability like Boost to keep u busy pressing buttons. On that note I will simply try for best equipment and pray that I get parties.

A few days ago I read Jay's guide on BRD which I have to say is one of the best I've seen to date. I hope to write something simular once I master every aspect of RDM, I still have certain things to learn, judge and understand.
